The chiming is achieved using the Ellacombe Apparatus, which is connected only to bells 5, 4 & 1.

BELFRY

Llantrithyd, 2010 02 21 0857, Sunday Service chiming, belfry, silence&chiming&stills, 112s of 300s
The bells are chimed using the Ellacombe Apparatus, and are chimed once in the order 5, 4, 1.
Bells 2 and 3 are not connected to the Ellacombe Apparatus, and bell 3 is cracked; they are chimed here using a teaspoon in the order 3, 2.
The stills are of bells 1, 2, 3, 4&5 in that order.

Llantrithyd, 2010 02 21 0905, Sunday Service chiming, 1st floor, silence & stills all 1 2 3 4 5, 70s
The Ellacombe rope for the 2nd bell (it comes through the floor in the hole for the 2nd bell) is actually connected directly to the treble bell without going through the upper pulleys.
The stills are in the following order: all bells, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
